West Slope, Portland, OR (13.6 km ENE from epicenter) [Map] / slight shaking (MMI IV) / horizontal (lateral) rocking / very short : I woke up and remember looking at the room which seemed to shake horizontally. It only lasted a few seconds. Nothing has fallen off the walls and no furniture has been moved.
1424 SW 209th Ave, Beaverton Or 97003 (6.1 km NNE from epicenter) [Map] / Very low shaking (MMI II) / rattling, vibration / 15-20 s : The whole house shook. It looked and sounded like testing at Camp Pendleton in Orange County, California.
Hillsboro, Oregon (6.2 km N of epicenter) [Map] / not felt : Dad heard a loud thump and that was about it, he described it as “he felt like he woke up with a start”. I was the only other family member awake and didn’t feel it or hear the thud.

Portland, Oregon 97229 (14.1 km ENE of epicenter) [Map] / Mild Agitation (MMI IV) : House shook slightly as I lay in bed, but it was definitely an earthquake. Or my house collapses. One or the other.
HILLSBORO, Oregon (6.8 km N of epicenter) [Map] / Very low shake (MMI II) / single vertical bump / very short : I live on the 3rd floor, it was like a bump and a jolt. It shook the whole building. It woke me up, my son and me.

I live on the third floor of a wooden building. The duration was short, 10-15 seconds.
Washington County Oregon (14.5 km NE of epicenter) [Map] / Very low shaking (MMI II) / Simple lateral shaking / 1-2 s : Sitting in the home office on the 2nd floor, I noticed and heard a wave passing from my left to right, which would be east to west. If I hadn’t experienced similar small earthquakes in my life, I wouldn’t have known this was what it was.
